Careers

Graduates in Economics of Innovation for Sustainable Development will develop skills that will encourage integration into private organizations and institutions. In particular, the employment opportunities for the two profiles mentioned above can be the following:

a) 'Entrepreneurship and finance' profile: graduates will have the appropriate knowledge to find a placement in private and public sector companies, as well as in financial institutions and foundations and other realities where skills are required in economic-statistical analysis of innovation dynamics for the identification and management of original financial instruments to support innovation strategies; for the management of business risk related to ESG (environmental, social and governance) areas; for the definition of strategies relating to corporate social responsibility and related reporting. In the finance and insurance fields, graduates will have the appropriate skills to analyse business models and business fundamentals necessary to operate in the private equity, asset allocation and venture philanthropy sectors.

b) 'Industrial' profile: graduates will have the appropriate knowledge to find a placement in private and public sector companies where skills are required in identifying the main market trends, analysing the competitive scenario, developing and implementing strategies innovative projects aimed at combining technological change and social impact (innovation manager, business analyst, digital manager, risk manager).

More specifically, the main reference profiles for graduates are:

  • Management Specialists in the Public Administration
  • Management and control specialists in private companies
  • Specialists in economic systems
  • Researchers and Experts in the study, management and control of social phenomena
